This is an extremely well done recreation of the game. It's not just a simple remake. The 3D movement engine changes the experience almost completely, giving this classic game a new feel. I would advise anyone who has even a remote interest in graphic adventures to give this a go. Also, be sure to take notes while playing, and make sure you have a few hours to spare
ONE OF THE BEST GAMES I EVER PLAYED!!!!
Excellent game, highly recommended, just want to ask the developer to continue supporting and updating
Myst is a really great game and Realmyst a quality remake but, as standard for Noodlecake work, this port does the absolute bare minimum to get a PC game "working" on Android. The touch movement is abysmal, there's no way to use the classic movement mode which could easily have been implemented with a toolbar, and other features like the guide, present in the PC version, are missing in this. Most seriously, there are *zero* detail settings. There's no good reason for this besides laziness.
Fantastic
Runs prefect on my Samsung. Nostalgia abounds! What a treat! Very good mobile adaptation of a classic game.
Game brings back amazing memories. The Myst series is, by far, one of the best first person puzzle games. Anyone who has never played, it is a must to discover. I have purchased both this game, and Riven the sequel. I am greatly hoping that these developers continue on to providing Android based versions of Myst 3 Exile, Uru Ages beyond Myst, Myst 4 Revelations, and Myst 5 End of Ages to play in this capacity. I certainly will be purchasing them, if they come out. That would be AWESOME. Thanks.
The story is compelling and the sceneries especially garner curiosity and awe, tying one into Myst's world. The puzzles vary from modest to crafty with the use of even audial and chronal elements. Frustrations weren't a worry with some patience and thought since the solutions oft came from discrete, rarely obscure sources. The controls may be odd; however, I found it barely affected my experience, if at all. Overall it was a delight playing, and I would do so all over again if I could forget.
It's a fairly old game and there are not many puzzles but for the time it was created it is still pretty cool and definitely a classic to check out
We need game 3. :)
